VTP-AX: Operator unit and full-fledged building PC with a unique design.

VTP-AX is the first VISAM Touch Panel series, which is aimed specifically at the needs of building automation. The AX devices convince with an elegant and simple design that can be integrated into almost any interior.

The depth of the framed aluminum control device, is only 40mm. With the included wall mount kit, the device can be mounted on the wall at a short distance. As optional accessories a stand feet and a flush-box for in-wall installation are available. For all installation options a horizontal or vertical alignment of the control unit is possible.

The high resolution and brilliant widescreen display is available in sizes of 15″ and 21″ to choose from. There is also the possibility between resistive and capacitive touch screen with multi-touch support to select. The touch panel features a fast, yet fanless and energy saving Intel Atom Dual Core processor with 2 CPU cores and a fast SSD drive for data.

In addition, the control unit can be customized with optional accessory modules. The modules are adapted in shape and appearance to the main unit and can be installed quickly and easily in the surrounding accessory mounting rail. Choose from a camera module and readers for magnetic cards, smart cards and RFID.

Like all VISAM operating units they come with a complete software package. This includes the operating system, the runtime environment and the VBASE HMI / SCADA editor for creating the building control. The software not only ensures compatibility with about 200 different bus and remote systems (including KNX, EnOcean, M-Bus, etc.) but also provides the necessary functionality for the scenario control, alarm, access control and logging.
