The e-magazine for KNX home & building control

About

KNXtoday is a trade magazine for KNX home and building control comprising an online magazine and email newsletter and is published by the KNX Association.

KNX is the Worldwide standard for home and building control. KNX is approved as an International Standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3) as well as an European Standard (CENELEC EN 50090 and CEN EN 13321-1) and Chinese Standard (GB/Z 20965). This means that KNX products made by different manufacturers can be combined – the KNX trademark logo guarantees their interworking and interoperability.

KNXtoday is edited by SYPHA. SYPHA was founded in 1989 to provide consultancy and research services for the professional AV industry. Its founder members, Yasmin Hashmi and Stella Plumbridge, are highly-qualified electronics engineers whose experience of consultancy includes projects involving industry, government and education. Within the media environment, SYPHA has experience in writing, commissioning and editing for many leading trade publications, and first began publishing its own specialist equipment guides in 1990.

Having recognised a need in the residential systems industry for those who can understand, explain and apply technology, SYPHA responded in 2003 by launching HiddenWires, an online trade magazine for the home automation industry which is now owned by the IML Group.
