Philips Dynalite will showcase the total lighting solutions—luminaires, architecture and controls—available from the company at the forthcoming Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2012 exhibition. Senior Product Marketing Manager EMEA, Daniel Gooijer, said the leading lighting control and automation group will demonstrate the latest gateway device which allows seamless integration with air-conditioning systems, weather stations, elevators and security systems using the industry standard KNX protocol. Gooijer added “Philips Dynalite is one of the few lighting control and automation providers that can offer this level of integration with such a degree of simplicity”.
Industry specifiers, designers and users will be able to experience new developments including user interfaces such as DynamicTouch for the iPhone and iPad which allows users to control integrated systems from anywhere in a home or office building. With an appropriate interface, users can also control the systems while they are travelling. ”There is a real demand for integrated lighting control systems that incorporate elements such as audio-visual, curtains, blinds and temperature and which can be controlled remotely,” Gooijer said.
DALI Multi-master will also be demonstrated at ISE 2012. This latest evolution of the DALI protocol takes wiring simplification and flexibility one step further by permitting field devices other than ballasts controlling lamps to be added to the DALI system for increased functionality. Such integration permits DALI-enabled devices such as sensors and user interface panels to communicate directly with the DALI ballasts and eliminates the need for parallel data networks.
The range of education options from Philips Dynalite help demystify lighting control systems for building managers and project developers. Staff will be on hand to discuss the benefits of the Philips Dynalite Training Academy. They will also provide information on enrolling in a training program to be a part of the Dimension Dealership team.
Philips Dynalite will be displayed and demonstrated in Hall 5, Stand 5S99 at ISE 2012, RAI Exhibition Centre, Amsterdam from 31 January to 2 February.
