Basalte recently launched Asano, a revolutionary and genius KNX multi-room audio system. Today, Basalte extends the Asano family with the new A3 module.
Asano is a decentralized multi-room audio system that brings crystal clear music in every room of a building. It has been developed for use with KNX and combines an unseen flexibility with a smooth and sleek design. Asano allows you to freely locate your sources and amplifiers anywhere in the building and carries out ultra clear sound to every zone in a digitally transparent and uncompressed manner. With the new A3 module you can integrate third-party amplifiers such as surround receivers in the Asano concept. Besides, active speakers like Bang & Olufsen can also be integrated.
On the one hand, the A3 module allows you to add up to three zones; on the other hand you can also connect two local sources. Once a source connected, it becomes available within the whole Asano system. Asano uses uncompressed 24bit audio via Ethernet to transport the sound between the different zones. Just like the whole Asano family, the A3 integrates seamless with KNX building management systems.
