Durable Technologies Offers Daylight Harvesting KNX Light Control Module

The DLC1000 Light Control Module is a KNX certified device that uses Daylight Harvesting (Constant Daylight) to dramatically reduce the carbon footprint of commercial lighting installations with high lighting loads.

Housed in lightweight aluminium and using switched mode power supplies that eliminate heavy transformers, the DLC1000 reduces power consumption and waste heat.

The DLC1000 Light Control Module has nine universal outputs supporting switched-circuit lighting control together with analogue (1-10V) and DSI digital dimming. Two additional outputs provide switching only (for signage, corridors etc.)

All outputs utilise Wieland GST connectors. Eight binary inputs for volt free or open collector inputs along with four analogue inputs utilising RJ45 connectors.

Certifiction to the KNX International Standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3) as well as European Standard (CENELEC EN 50090 and CEN EN 13321-1) and Chinese Standard (GB/Z 20965) ensures the DLC1000 Light Control Module is open and future proof.

The DLC1000 can be combined with over 7,000 other KNX certified products made by over 100 manufacturers worldwide – the KNX trademark logo guarantees their interworking and interoperability.

KNX certification also means the DLC1000 Light Control Module can be commissioned by any of the over 11,000 independent KNX certified partners around the world.

With its unique combination of market leading features, excellent energy efficiency (Daylight Harvesting/Constant Daylight feature) and KNX compliant interoperability, the DLC1000 Light Control Module is the only choice for today’s commercial light control needs.
