Connected Distribution introduces KNX products from EAE Technology to the UK market

Connected Distribution is introducing KNX solutions from EAE Technology to the UK residential and commercial installation markets. This comprehensive range of products will enhance the offering from installers to their customers and, due to its competitive pricing, further help the growth of KNX as a building management and energy saving solution in the UK.

EAE Technology is part of the EAE Group, a global corporation that was originally founded in 1973 in Istanbul, Turkey. Today the company exports to 100 countries, with dedicated offices in Italy, Germany, Australia and the USA, and employs 2,500 people. The group develops and manufactures all products in-house, to the ISO 9001 standard. There are over 1m EAE active devices in use across the world.

Talking about the introduction of EAE to the UK, Mike Bonnette, Connected Distribution’s product director says, “The range of KNX solutions produced by EAE Technology is vast, covering the fields of smart home and residential building, industrial, commercial, and hotel guest room management.” He continues, “Each of these solutions will be available in the UK to provide maximum flexibility to residential and commercial installers and M&E consultants. We are excited by this introduction and convinced that the introduction of EAE Technologies products will significantly improve the choice available to KNX professionals.”

Within the domestic products, EAE produces three distinct, customisable, ranges of switch plates to cover all styles and price bands – the Rosa Metal, Rosa Crystal and Oria. These are supplemented by the 10” and 7” Miola Touch Panels, which serve as the control heart, link to a cloud-based server and interface for mobile integration. A portfolio of sockets for mains/data/comms, plus panel and DIN rail devices including actuators, RCUs and PSUs complete the line-up.

Its commercial products are largely focused on energy management within buildings. Movement/daylight sensors; timing and scheduling; HVAC integration; centralised monitoring/control/alarm functions; and DALI lighting control provide all the systems required to ensure buildings are working to their maximum efficiency.

The hotel sector has specific requirements and EAE Technology provides for these with its Guest Room Management products, aimed at ensuring maximum safety for guests, as well as providing energy saving thanks to the smart management of lighting, heating and cooling systems. The highly adaptable range of hotel specific products create a solution that meets all the needs of comfort, security, aesthetics and elegant user interfaces.

EAE products are available now from Connected Distribution. Due to the nature of KNX projects, each order will be individually specified, costed and ordered from the manufacturing facility in Turkey.
