CEDIA Announces New Cybersecurity Workshop for ISE 2020

10th February, 09:00 – 18:00 at the Hotel Okura, Amsterdam

The world of integrated systems is changing. Now nearly all devices are connected to the IP network. The concepts of network security and privacy have evolved to be critical components of every system design, implementation, and aftercare plan.

The lead instructor for the course will be Jeff Sonnleitner: a professional network and security instructor with over 35 years’ experience.

This workshop will guide attendees through the generation of example cybersecurity policies. These will allow a company to ensure systems are implemented securely and ensure customer expectations are managed. During the workshop, attendees will take part in sessions where they will create the outline for two important policies:

– An Operational Cybersecurity Policy for staff to ensure every network is designed and configured in a secure manner
– A User Cybersecurity Policy to guide end users in playing their part in maintaining security and privacy.

At the end of the workshop, attendees will be given template cybersecurity policies. These can be combined with learning from the course to help create specific policies for a company.

By the end of the course, attendees will –

Have created outlines for operational and user cybersecurity policies.
Be able to list the most critical network attack surfaces within integrated systems.
Be able to explain the benefits and importance of cybersecurity policies.
Have an outline plan to create cybersecurity policies for their company.

Book your place now on this full-day training session, part of CEDIA’s extensive professional development programme for ISE 2020.

Save now with special early bird prices before 8th January 2020!
