Waseda University Puts KNX Demand Response Into Practice

KNX to be integrated soon

As a result of the major tsunami in Japan, the Japanese government has put its focus on demand response in order to save energy and fully integrate renewable energies.

The research in order to implement demand response is done by Waseda University, one of the leading universities in Japan. After showing the model homes, to the KNX Association, the university is very keen to integrate KNX. Since KNX is already offering solutions for demand response, thanks to KNX city, KNX will be the major focus on the first demand response project, which will be put into real practice worldwide.
