The challenge is a global initiative launched by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) in partnership with New York International that brings innovative companies from around the world which are active in areas of strategic significance to the City and connects them with local business and community leaders. This edition focuses on the area of new manufacturing, including 3D printing and connected devices. Along with Intesis, three Spanish companies and seven more from the Netherlands, USA, United Kingdom, Japan, Israel and Italy have also been selected for this edition.
