KNX Italy Calls for Entries to its Third Annual Awards

KNX Italy is pleased to announce the opening of nominations to the ‘Italian KNX Award 2013’. The awards ceremony will take place in Milan at Officine del Volo, Friday, 22 November 2013, on the occasion of the ‘KNX Day 2013: the world at your fingertips’.

The KNX Award 2013 Italy will award the best KNX projects who have distinguished themselves in terms of innovation and excellence. Projects eligible for selection must be completed in the last two years and have not been presented in previous editions of the Awards.

Applications will compete for the award in five different categories:

1 ) Best energy efficiency project
The project description must give evidence of the improvements achieved in terms of sustainability and energy performance through the use of the KNX technology.

2 ) Best social project
The project description must provide evidence of how KNX technology has allowed us to meet the particular needs of users.

3 ) Best residential project
The project description must give evidence of the benefits from the use of KNX technology in such settings and the type of tasks performed in response to specific needs.

4 ) Best public sector project
The project description must give evidence of the benefits from the use of KNX technology in such settings and the type of tasks performed in response to specific needs.

5 ) Best National Project

The Prize :

The awards for the five categories will be given at the discretion of a jury consisting of neutral experts.

The prize will be awarded for each of five categories:

– A package that includes some KNX ETS Apps
– A Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch

The KNX Award 2013 Italy is open to designers, installers, system integrators and other operators active in Italy. Requests to participate must be sent no later than Friday 8 November 2013. For more information see:
