Hello [NAME]

YasminHashmiRefreshed from the summer holidays, we are back with a super issue starting with an interview with Romesh Anandaraja of Ivory Egg ANZ on how KNX is faring in the Australasian market.

Next, as control systems become more complex and client expectations grow, there is often a question about where the responsibility of the KNX professional ends and that of other trades begins. Simon Buddle meets the issue head on in his article about solving problems with cooling systems. He argues why the KNX professional should go the extra mile, and includes some very useful tips from two recent projects.

With one eye on the Smart Home for Independent Living show that will take place in the UK next spring, Paul Foulkes of Wago makes the case for KNX as a platform for systems that assist with independent living. Paul's article includes helpful design advice that goes beyond automation, for elderly and disabled people, including an excellent short video.

And finally, Jesus Arias of KNX Association, gives a splendid overview of why KNX RF is ideal for wireless installations. He looks at the growing KNX RF product range, and points out the unique benefits of KNX RF, including its impressive reach and its seamless integration into the ETS programming software that can mix wired, RF, powerline and IP devices in the same project.

We also have plenty of news at the website, plus the resources section which is packed full of useful documents and videos. If you have any projects you would like us to consider for publication, do get in touch, and don't forget to send a picture of you, your smile and the KNX logo for our 'Where is KNX?' gallery!
